FA CUP FINAL:

CHELSEA Vs EVERTON

New Wembley stadium hosted the world's oldest football tournament this Saturday. It was a match between mighty Blues of London Vs Blues half Merseyside. Chelsea having beaten Arsenal 2-1 in the semifinals were feeling very close to the first silverware after the Murinho's era.
On the other side Everton were wary of Hiddink's men after beating local rivals Liverpool 1-0 and EPL champions Manchester united on penalties in the semifinal.
Just after 25 seconds after kick-off Everton scored the first goal in the name of Saha. This French man's goal is the fastest goal in the FA cup Final in last 100 years. Chelsea defenders couldn't clear the ball and Saha capitalized the chance to give his club a very early lead. A perfect start for any Final match.

Mins later Essien blasted first chance over the bar. In the 21st min Anelka passed the to Malouda who was waiting in the left wing. Malouda produced a wonderful cross to Drogba who headed it home to put Chelsea back on level pegging.

In the second half Chelsea took control of the game completely. In the 60th min Anelka missed a lovely chance in an attempt to chip the ball over goal keeper Howard. In the 67th min Saha headed a good cross from Baines over the bar.
In the 72 min Lampard proved he is a true match winner by scoring a fantastic goal from the edge of the box with his left foot
.
In the 78th min Malouda's shot crashed off the cross bar and appeared to bounce over the goal-line. But Chelsea were denied as referee failed to notice where exactly the ball bounced.

A.Cole won his 5th FA cup medal.

Final score was Chelsea 2-1 Everton

A perfect farewell to Guus Hiddink who is leaving Chelsea , to resume his job as the coach of the the Russian national team.

After two years FA cup is heading to Stamford Bridge .

MANCHESTER UNITED:

Manchester United travelled to JJB stadium this Wednesday.
A win will make their way easy to win the championship. Although former United player Steve Bruce don't have such a good record against his former boss Sir Alex Ferguson , having won just two points in their last 11 meetings , he will hope to push United to a draw.
Just after the kick-off Valencia's pace broke the United defence very easily. But he couldn't come up with a good finish.
Mins later Berbatov with the help of Ronaldo , gave a accurate pass to Rooney, which he headed it wide.
Later Carrick also missed a chance by chipping the ball over the bar.Van der Sar saved one dangerous looking free-kick from N'Zogbia.
In the 28th min United defence looked vulnerable for the second time in the first half . A long pass dropped down beautifully for Rodallega who found the net to give the home team 1-0 lead over the champions. Vidic was appealing for the foul on him but couldn't get referee on his side.

In the second half United's defence was more composed than in the first .
Tevez who came in as a substitute in the 58 th min , made his impact just after 3 mins. In the 61st min Carrick pass was luckily spotted Tevez , who finished it off with his heel with a back flick. He made one of the toughest finish look very easy.

In the second half Wigan didn't really have any chances.
Late in the second half Ronaldo gave pass to unmarked O'Shea. O'Shea gave pass to Carrick who struck an 87th-minute winner to sink Wigan 2-1 and move Manchester United to within a solitary point of retaining their Premier League title.

Final score was Wigan 1-2 Manchester United.....
