Manchester Vs Merseyside:



Even though Manchester United had a mixed results from last four matches , they crushed struggling Everton to a 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford.
In the 34th min , Flecther found the top corner of the net after receiving the ball from Valencia from almost 20 yards . It was a superb half-volley and the ball just bent away from Howard.

Fellaini was caught off-side . Rooney's shot brushed the cross bar . In the 66th min , Giggs passed the ball to Carrick and he found the net with his left foot from 18 yard box .


Just 9 mins later , Valencia's shot came-off the defender an ended-up in the back of the net.

Final Score Man Utd 3-0 Everton .....





Liverpool saved 2 points against Manchester City with the help of Benayoun's equalizer . With this draw , Liverpool had registered only one win in their last 10 matches in all competition .
In the 49th min , Skrtel scored the first goal of the match with the help of Gerrard's free-kick. Later TV replay suggested that the ball actually came off Adebayor before crossing the line.

In the 69th min , Adebayor scored the equalizer with his head.

6 mins later Ireland scored the second goal for City to take the lead 1-2.

In the 77th min , Benayoun scored the equalizer and confirmed a point for the Reds.

Without Torres Liverpool couldn't stand up to the challenge like Manchester City.

Mixed Results for Londoners:

Sunderland added Arsenal to their scalps for the season after taking points off Liverpool and Manchester United.


Bent kept up his stellar record of scoring against the big four this season with the winner against Arsenal. He scored his goal in the 70th min.

Chelsea continued their impressive form and crushed Wolverhampton to a 4-0 defeat.
In the 5th min , Malouda scored a stunning goal from a long distance.

Later in the 12th min , Essien scored the second goal of the match to increase the lead to 2-0.

In the 22nd min , Essien scored again but this time from quite a long distance.

J.Cole scored the fourth and final goal of the match in the 56th min .

Final score Chelsea 4-0 Wolverhampton.....



Fulham lost to Birmingham 1-0 .




Westham failed to gain 3 points form their match against struggling Hull city. match ended 3-3.




Other Results:

Aston Villa were saved by Heskey's 86th min equalizer against Burnley . Match ended 1-1.




Tottenham striker Defoe scored five times as Harry Redknapp's men threatened to rack up double figures against Wigan. Final score was 9-1.


It was Spurs’ biggest win for 32 years .
