MANCHESTER UNITED:
Manchester utd need 3 more wins and a draw to lift the title. To make one of those three needed wins possible united travelled to Riverside this Saturday.
It was the 801st match for the united legend Ryan Giggs.
It was the first league match start for Italian striker Macheda.Keeping Arsenal's semifinal clash in mind , Ronaldo and Ferdinand were rested.
Middelsbrough had an early chance when King Played Aliadiere into the box . But he couldn't find a good finish and Foster saved the shot.
In the 24th min Giggs found enough space , which encouraged him to go for a shoot from outside the box and eventually scored in his 801st match for united. Jones was help less for Giggs shot.United took the lead in the first half.

Just after the start of second half , Rooney was galloping towards the goal post and managed to give the pass to Macheda. It was relatively an easy chance, but Macheda couldn't find the net.
In the 51st min Ronney gave lovely pass to Korean international Park who doesn't need second opportunity to score. Park buried the ball in the nets against the direction of his run with his left foot.

Although there were very less opportunities for both teams in the second half , Alfonso Alves had chance to try his luck with the dead ball, which he blazed it wide.
United are getting closer match by match to clinch their 18th league title to level it with Liverpool's record of 18 league titles.
Final score was Middelsbrough 0-2 Manchester United.....
ARSENAL:
Arsenal travelled to Fratton park this Saturday. Arsenal were led by Russian international Arshavin for the first time.Arsenal rested their big guns ahead of next week's Champions League semi-final second leg against Manchester United.
Early in the first half Belhadj had decent chance which he kicked it wide. Mins later Vela was denied of penalty for the Distin's challenge in the box.
In the 12th min Arshavin's aerial pass found Bendtner near the far post. Bendtner headed the ball straight into the hands of England goal keeper James , but James couldn't hold onto it and ball just crossed the line before he can reclaim it.
Mins later Vela's free shoot was blocked by Hreidarsson . Later Belhadj and Crouch made their way through the Arsenal's defenders but Crouch couldn't find the right finish.
In the 40th min Arshavin was strongly challenged by Davis in the box. Even though Arshavin pointed for corner kick and turned to referee to tell him "no penalty" , Arsenal were awarded a penalty.Not many forwards in the world would be that honest. 
Bendtner finished it off calmly to give arsenal a 2-0 lead.
In the second half Hughes ,Utaka and Crouch missed two more chances.
In the 55th min Vela scored a beautiful goal to give Arsenal a comfortable lead of 3-0 over Pompey.Pamarot was sent off for his foul on Arshavin near the edge of the box.
Final score was Portsmouth 0-3 Arsenal.....
CHELSEA:
Chelsea hosted their city rivals Fulham this Saturday.Its a clash between two London clubs.It's been 30 years since Fulham won at Stamford bridge.
Just seconds after the kick-off Malouda,Anelka,Drogba were galloping towards the Fulham penalty box , which resulted in a 51' goal for Anelka. Chelsea took the lead in the first min itself.
In the 4th min Murphy delivered a perfect pass to Nevland who was flying near the right wing.
Nevland didn't wait for any other Fulham player to join him and took a shot directly across the Chelsea goal keeper. Cech should have stopped the ball from reaching its destiny. Fulham were back in business just 3 mins after the opening goal.
In the 10th min Drogba gave a good cross to Malouda which he didn't miss. 3 goals inside the first 10 mins , a perfect start for any derby match.
In the 53rd min Fulham defenders just couldn't match their speed with the chelsea's break and Anelka gave lovely waiting ball to Drogba , who scored the 3rd goal for chelsea.
Mins later Lampard's free-kick was tipped over by Schwarzer. Later Anelka outwitted Fulham defenders before giving a cross to Drogba near post , which he missed.
Chelsea warmed up for their Champions League semi-final against Barcelona next week with a comfortable 3-1 win over west London neighbours Fulham.
Final score was Chelsea 3-1 Fulham.....
