EPL-Mid week matches review

LIVERPOOL Vs ARSENAL:













Liverpool hosted Arsenal at Anfield this Tuesday. After a 4-4 draw against Chelsea in the champions league quarter final, Liverpool looked more confident than Arsenal. Arsenal were looking to increase their lead over Aston villa, who were a major threat to their champions league spot next year.
In the 17th min Torres gone for almost an impossible goal which was parried over by the Arsenal goal keeper Fabianski .
In the 35th min Mascherano hesitated to clear the ball and ended up in losing the ball to Fabregas . Nasri took the ball beautifully inside the box and Fabregas moved quite brilliantly around him before receiving the pass from Nasri and gave a low pass to new boy Arshavin , who did no mistake in putting the ball behind Reina. Arsenal took the lead in the first half.












There is nothing to talk about in the second half, but 7 goals.




In the 48th min Sagna failed to clear the ball and ended up giving the ball to Kuyt. who tried twice to cross the ball and succeeded second time to give Torres a lovely opportunity to level the score with his head . Counting his last weeks performance Torres could not miss any chances and he didn't miss this one also. Liverpool were back on level terms.


5 mins later again Kuyt gave a lovely cross to Benayoun . Even though Benayoun couldn't put enough pace to his header , due to Fabianski's mistake ball crossed the line and Liverpool took the lead for the first time in the match.



In the 67th min Arbeloa was dispossed by Arshavin and didn't hesitate to go for a spectacular goal. Arsenal were levelled once again.
Just 2 mins later Arshavin scored his first hat-trick for Arsenal,from the cross provided by Nasri . What a team to score first hat-trick against.













In the 73 min Riera gave a pass to Torres. Torres turned beautifully before scoring his second goal of the match. score was 3-3.













Arsenal capitalized from the liverpool corner in the 90th min. Walcott and Arshavin broke very quickly and Arshavin scored his fourth goal of the match with his left foot.
In the 93rd min liverpool booked the 27th goal on the score sheet from 8 matches in all competition with Benayoun's second goal of the match.

Final score was Liverpool 4-4 Arsenal.....
